Ocean’s Industries LLC, in proud partnership with Chystal O'Jon, Owner of Maricopa Lifestyle Magazine, is co-hosting one of the first-ever citywide Cancer Walks — a day of remembrance, unity, and hope:
🩷Boots on the Ground - Every Step Carries a Story: Walk for a Cure for Cancer — it's a living tribute.
Each footstep honors a name, a face, a journey. Whether you walk for a survivor, in memory of a loved one, or in support of those still fighting, this Cancer Walk is your moment to move meaningfully.
We stand ten toes down — firmly planted in strength, love, and community. And as we walk, we carry the power of every story, the resilience behind every name, and the hope that fuels every stride.
This walk is personal for Ocean and Chrystal.
Ocean lost her mother to lung and brain cancer just one month after diagnosis — no time to prepare, only a sudden, life-changing silence. Her aunt died of breast cancer, and her nephew is a bone cancer survivor at age 12 — a living reminder that hope is real.
Chrystal’s father passed from prostate cancer — the silent killer. His loss was life-changing and underscores the urgent need for awareness and early detection.
This walk honors every journey and shines a light on all cancers!
We walk for our loved ones. We walk because we couldn’t save them but we can honor them. And we walk to remind others that they are not alone, not in their grief, their fight, or their healing.
Ocean’s Industries has participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure for over four years— leading teams, raising awareness, and walking in honor.
But this year, I knew it was time to bring that power and healing home.
✨ Maricopa deserves this. A walk that speaks our names. A walk that uplifts our stories. A walk that roots itself in strength, remembrance, and togetherness
